It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
Ayia Napa is the party capital of Cyprus. We heard about the famous street of bars many times, and when we found ourselves in this city, we considered it our duty to make a raid in order to plunge into the famous "evil life" :-) At the very beginning of the report, I want to convey the atmosphere that reigns there. Rock, pop, disco and a lot of other music surround you. The only thing we are sure of is that the song We will rock you from the legendary Queen band, you will hear a lot of variations on every corner ... See for yourself.
The bar street is arranged like this: at the beginning of the pedestrian zone there is a club with a frog, from which walk along Ayras Mavris street towards the "big circle" with establishments.
Life hack: if you are a budget traveler and do not want to spend 6-8 euros for drinks in clubs, then where the dotted line on the map connects with the "big circle" there is a store. This is a place where beer is sold in cans at 0.7 - 0.8 euros per half liter and after visiting which, you can go to the club with a full economical "ammunition".
Here are the pillars in the photo that separate the territory of the automobile Ayia Napa from the pedestrian "bar" street. We begin our fascinating "excursion" along the street of bars, starting from a frog in a "T-shirt - alcoholic" ... ;-)
The pictures that surrounded us promise bright adventures ... And also, we were a little envious of the Scots with “white envy”, because they were able to earn a personal billboard with gratitude from Cyprus. It's even hard to imagine how the citizens of Scotland have earned such respect on the street of bars ...
I could not resist and took a picture with "Senor Frogs" and only at home I saw that there were signs for "blondes" and for "bad girls". Now it remains to console myself that I am not a blonde ;-)
Since we were in Ayia Napa during the "off season", some clubs were completely closed from the word. We didn’t manage to walk along Hollywood Boulevard and touch Sin (SIN).
But the Titanic club was open, but the number of visitors did not impress us, and we move on.
The Castle Club really looked like a castle, but its emptiness and dullness surpassed even the Titanic. We, slightly saddened, continued our night raid ...
And so, we turned into one of the streets of Ayia Napa at night and we were surrounded by myriads of soap bubbles, music and crowds of tourists. What it is? We can't believe it. Can we really dive into the vibrant nightlife even in October? We look forward to ...
We found a place for ourselves on the "street of bars" - the club "Ambassaden" became it. All the tables are occupied, cocktails are pouring in, the music "rocks". It became clear that all the fun is happening here, so let's go inside!
Great atmosphere, dancing, fun. We are going to reveal the secret of this club: how did they manage to gather such a wonderful company when there is peace and quiet in the rest of the clubs. Forward to the dance floor !!!
And here's the secret: for 7 euros in this club we got not one cocktail, but two (promotion) and also a "shot" for everyone - a small glass of some kind of drink. Since not everyone drinks their own "shot" with a cocktail, there are a lot of them, and each visitor can come to the counter and absolutely free "catch up" with a glass or two of unclaimed "shots". We took a "Cuba Libre" for ourselves and our drinks, along with the "shots" looked like this.
The bartender girl entertained the guests with sparklers.
We danced and finished our cocktail, which actually turned out to be the most delicious Cuba Libre ever. The proportions of the drink were observed professionally. Further, the exploration of the nightlife on the street of bars was fun and dynamic: Here are the acquaintances at the "Black and White" club.
But the disco is a dream, 90% of the dancers are girls. The owners of the club apparently know how to attract the right audience to visit them.
We finished our journey through the nightlife in the pub "Paddy's Irish Bar", where the guy played the guitar song "Zombie" from the wonderful group " Cranberries ". It was so touching that it inspired the memory of a trip to Indian Anjuna many years ago, where this song also "tore the soul". Therefore, we edited these two songs into one video clip.
Summary: There is a nightlife on the street of bars in Ayia Napa. We think that during the "high season" it will even be difficult to walk down the street there. But also in the off-season, everyone will find entertainment on demand and affordable. But a selfie from a pirate dance bar is laid out by me just to end our reportage ;-)
