We dropped into Finland for just a few hours, but were able to warm ourselves up with its charm in the cold and damp weather. We remembered it for its spacious squares and the many churches that stand next to the ultra-modern buildings of the capital.
What to watch first
We really wanted to get to the Temppeleaukio Rock Church and we did it. We were able to immerse ourselves inside the huge stone for half an hour and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
What was the most unusual thing about the trip?
The delicious delicacies of the Helsinki market will be remembered forever. Many fish dishes, magical dried reindeer, and also, surprising to us, "bear cub stew", which we did not dare to try.
