It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)

Our first report from the Republic of Maldives was written about the city of Hulhumale and warned our readers that the widely advertised Maldives "at the price of Egypt" could bring a lot of disappointment. Let's make a reservation right away that all the other locations that we visited in the Maldives were fantastic! Today we will tell you about the yacht cruise that gave us the island - the resort where we stayed. The word "gifted" may not be the most accurate in this case, but rather a cool marketing ploy from the company that runs the island. Seeing, for example, that all the rooms and bungalows are sold for tomorrow, and orders are still coming in, they rent a huge yacht with 10 cabins and cry out to their vacationers: "Who would like to sail on a beautiful yacht for free on a cruise for one day, with nutritionally exclusive? " And they quickly recruit 20 passengers who want to get new experiences, and in their rooms, they populate new customers. Thus, they manage to sell 10 more cottages per day than there is in the island's room stock, while their tourists get one additional adventure, which was not originally included in the holiday plans. On the day chosen for our cruise, we anxiously stood at the pier of the island, waiting for a speedboat that was supposed to pick us up at 11 o'clock. The boat was punctual, like almost everything on the resort island (the resort is an island entirely owned by the hotel). And so, we are racing towards new adventures.

We sail on a boat to our yacht

The first thing that pleased us was the location of the yacht. She was parked near a picturesque island, the beach of which could be visited if desired.

There were five passenger cabins on two decks. They were distributed among the passengers at random. We got a cabin from the lower deck, perhaps that's why the portholes were high enough there: to look out we had to climb onto the bed with our feet 😊

The saloon was spacious, with sofas, firmly attached tables, and plenty of room for dancing.

There was a bar in the wardroom, which provided almost the same exclusive as on the island. But the dining room where we ate was very reminiscent of enthusiastic travelers the dining room from the cult film "In Search of Captain Grant" , which Soviet teenagers watched avidly in 1986.

While the others were dining imposingly, we were already exploring the upper deck. There was a huge lounge area, a jacuzzi for 2-3 people, and even a steering wheel that did not react to anything, but turning it while facing the wind was very romantic 😂😂😂

The fact that the yacht is a mega romantic place can be proved with the help of a photograph. A couple in love from India was experiencing their romantic ecstasy, depicting a scene from "Titanic", and I "accidentally" at this moment decided to "shoot a selfie"

The sun was gradually approaching the horizon, and we sailed past the new islands, to the colorful cocktails of the yacht bartender.

The calm contemplation of the sunset was interrupted by the guys from the crew of our ship. They offered to arrange a fishing competition. No fishing rods, floats or baits. Simple round spools with a fishing line, a hook on the line, and one of the sailors lays the bait from small pieces of fish. The competition began spontaneously when a girl from Hong Kong suddenly pulled out the first fish. Then a guy from Germany took a bite. We "did not graze the hind" and according to the final results of sport fishing, Nataly with her three fish took the prize second place, after the "hated German" 😂😂😂, who caught four fish.

While we were fishing, the ship's cook set the tables on the upper deck, then turned on the lights and invited the guests to dinner. The yacht's passengers had already made friends and chatted with great pleasure on the comfortable sofas on the upper deck.

The next morning, Wow Adventure awaited us! The yacht dropped anchor near a microscopic desert island. Apparently, it is uninhabited only at night, and in the daytime, various small ships dock to it with sufficient regularity to provide their passengers with the opportunity to go to this shore and walk along the embankment

All the passengers of our yacht were taken to the uninhabited island by two boat trips. First impressions are very hot, because it is impossible to find a centimeter of shadow. Thanks to this, all the islanders tried to get into the water as soon as possible. By the way, the underwater world around this island was practically absent: sand, a few algae and an empty jar from "7up" left by some irresponsible comrade

After hanging out on the island for about an hour, we sailed back to our ship, finally taking a photo of this tiny piece of land.

After relaxing in the air-conditioned coolness of the ship, we set off on an even more interesting adventure. The yacht took us to a huge coral reef, to observe colored fish, and if we are lucky, even for turtles, which often come there.

Everyone who was ready to go on a photo and video hunt for turtles, taking cameras and masks, got on the boat and slowly sailed away.

And now, I'll just repost the text from my Instagram (well, and of course, I invite you to subscribe to it): " I would never have believed it if, someone told me, a Soviet schoolboy from the 80s, who opened his mouth to watch films from the series # Odyssey # Cousteau in the program # club # travelers , that in the future I will be able not only to see the beauty of this underwater world, but also myself, with the help of a video camera I will shoot scenes "in no way inferior to Maitre Cousteau" 😁😁😁
And now, thanks to the development of technologies in aviation, travel and household appliances, I present to you my romantic dance with an ocean turtle.
Imagine: just the ocean, me and a turtle !!!
Look, this is one of the best videos I've ever shot ...
"

(Below is a link to our youtube channel, where we post our films from travels, hoping that you will like them and become our viewers and subscribers).

And for the most impatient I will tell you that turtles start at 02:20

The passengers, inspired by the resulting shots, returned to the yacht and enthusiastically showed each other the videos filmed under the water. But 13:00 came, and two boats moored to the side. They brought another 20 people who still had to make all those fantastic discoveries that we made over the past day. The crew took them on board and said goodbye to us very cordially. We, satisfied and full of impressions, sat on the first row of the boat, which rushed us back to our resort island.
