It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
Our cottage.
It's time to confess your love for our country house. Unfortunately, she is now far enough away from us, but still, we try to set aside several weekends a year to visit our corner of peace and tranquility. Memories begin! Somehow, at the very beginning of summer, urgent matters brought us to Kharkov and we could not miss a visit on the weekend
our dacha, very abandoned and unkempt due to our absence, but blossoming,
beautiful and very dear to us. And the guests, albeit a little prickly, but rather friendly - rushed to us themselves ;-)
June is the month, the holiday of flowering, the holiday of berries and beauty. Come to our country house in June and you will be enchanted.

Strawberry. Someone picks strawberries, and someone puts them in the most reliable safe. Like me in the next photo.

Next is my pride. I collected a whole bucket of strawberries and was proud of myself. The most delicious grows closest to the Aleko river. The closer, the more, tastier and more aromatic.

Here is a thorny predator that has come to the doorstep of the dacha. He snorted like a little pig. Look what he was like. And then, we reveal the cherry theme. Those who love cherries rejoice with us. Cherries are beautiful!

In Japanese culture, it is not customary to rejoice in a bouquet of flowers; one flower also replaces it. For the Japanese reading our blog, it’s just one cherry for contemplation.

Plants blooming in the courtyard surprised with their names: here is the name of the one on the left, to our surprise, we are not familiar ;-) And on the right - last year's flowers with their unusual aesthetics. Isn't it majestic ...

Do you know the Ukrainian night? Oh, you don't know the Ukrainian night! I quote the words of Gogol from "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka", because I sincerely consider him the greatest singer and promoter ;-) of Ukraine. His Ukrainian nights are mysterious, scary, but incredibly beautiful. We managed to capture the finale of one of these nights near our dacha. We went on morning fishing, in the fields and meadows. And when the eye was already able to distinguish some details of the surrounding nature, we felt what kind of beauty surrounds us. Drizzle, fog, glimpses of dawn - everything came together in the magic dance of nature.
Trees peeping out of the fog in the distance resembled mysterious animals, but in the next photo, the tree "elephant" leaves for its new pasture.
A bright month - on the opposite side of sunrise, struggling fiercely with the superior dawn rays. He is still very strong, the power of the night star is still great.

The last few minutes of the reign of the night over the Ukrainian land are coming to an end. The sun's rays disperse the frosty haze. And a new day opens its eyes.
"Do you know the Ukrainian night? Oh, you do not know the Ukrainian night! Look at it. From the middle of the sky the moon is looking. The immense vault of heaven has resounded, moved even more immensely. It burns and breathes. The earth is all in silver light; and wonderful air and cool -soul, and full of bliss, and moves the ocean of fragrances. Divine night! Charming night! "N.V. Gogol

Reading this post, you might think that the weather in the Kharkiv region is always pleasant and predictable. But there were also incredible cases. On a warm April evening, we arrived at the dacha, sang songs with a guitar, planned to go to the lake in the morning, go fishing and sunbathe. Then they went to bed and woke up in the morning fell into a slight stupor. Some of the friends, returning from the yard, went into the house and said: "Let's go make a snowman"! Everyone laughed, but going out into the courtyard in turn, each returned and began to say similar things. In the end, we said that stop playing with us! Yesterday everyone was sitting in the yard in shorts and T-shirts at 1 am! We went to look and were stunned. Yesterday's blooming green courtyard looked like this:

Not far from the dacha there are 4 (four !!!) lakes. Three of them are paid and one is free, where you can only catch small, small fish the size of a finger. But on one of the three paid lakes there is a beautiful sandy beach - swimming there is free, and fishing costs money. This was warned by a sign at the entrance: "Responsible for fishing, Chernopisky, phone such and such." Therefore, when our children wanted to swim, they absolutely calmly, without any other meaning, asked: "Let's go to Chernopisky in the afternoon ..." :-) We took our dog and went to a man with this surname.

Once, the birds built a nest under the lintel of the dacha, but their babies were so active that after mom and dad flew away for food, they brazenly climbed out and fell from the nest into a flower bush. I had to check this bush 3-4 times a day, raise little hooligans from the ground, take a stepladder and return the chicks to their place.

When our arrival coincided with a bright sunny day, the discussion of work on the site ended with dad starting to mow in the truest sense of the word, and the boys were engaged in "cleaning" the territory, catching everything that moved.

In fact, instead of objective reporting, we got "a confession in our Dacha's Love. And we are glad of this, because, although we are there very rarely, but she looks quite" overlooked ", but it was She who taught our children to appreciate beauty nature, love animals and appreciate the moments spent with family and friends.
