It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
In 1991, listening to a collection of hits " A-Ha - Headlines & Deadlines " on a vinyl record, it was absolutely clear to me that NEVER IN LIFE I could not see this group "live", because "Soviet Union", and because they are from "decaying" capitalist Norway. Then I was sure that I had no chance of getting to their concert, since no one, except Yuri Alexandrovich Senkevich , the host of the "Film Travel Club" , can go abroad. Therefore, when in 2006 "A-ha" came to Kiev, at the concert I had a feeling of the incredibility of what was happening - after all, my childhood memories assured that Morten Harket on stage and I in the auditorium were incompatible things ;-)
Twelve years have passed since then, and on the news I saw that MTV offered the group "A-ha" to record the concert "unplugged". The most famous music channel in the world tends to record "unplugged" with musicians when they are at their highest peak. All music lovers are familiar with such concerts of Nirvana, Kiss and Oasis. It's nice to know that now my favorite "A-ha" has appeared in this line. In support of this recording, several concerts of the group were organized in Europe, mainly in Germany, England and Norway. Knowing the routes of low-cost airlines from Ukraine, we found a city where it is inexpensive to fly and where the concert will take place on the weekend. This city turned out to be German Hanover. Buying tickets for the concert on the Internet was not difficult. The only thing that surprised me was the work of the TNT delivery workers - they did not call back to clarify "where to bring you?", "When will you be at home?", "What is the password for the intercom?" and did not ask many other questions that are "tortured" by the delivery service in our country. They just brought the envelope with tickets to the right place while I was at home and did not ask for any passwords. There was something incredible and even a little frightening in this: maybe they control the whole world? !!! ;-) Here, see how the ticket looks like.

Inexpensive flights to Hannover were bought promptly, since we know how to monitor cheap flights and regularly place promotions for travelers on our FB page . If you have not subscribed yet, then we recommend subscribing!
The date of the concert has come and we are walking imposingly in the center of the capital of Lower Saxony. For those who did not understand: the capital of Lower Saxony is Hanover ;-)

The fastest way to get to the concert hall was by metro. See what the metro looks like in Germany. The German train with "accordions" makes it possible to distribute passengers more conveniently than if the cars were separate, but the station itself in beauty and convenience is clearly inferior to any of the Kiev ones.

Coming out of the metro, we easily determined the direction of the path: everyone who came here walked in one direction - to the TUI-Arena, where the event will be held.

I've heard a lot about German entrepreneurship and I can confirm that this is absolutely true. Before entering we met a man who was selling hot dogs and beer. A charcoal grill with sausages hung on his belt in front (!!!), a barrel of beer was located on his back (!!!), and an umbrella with prices for the offered goods was also attached on top. With all this "equipment" he easily moved among the concert visitors, simultaneously serving them. This is called professionalism!

Inside the concert complex, we were waiting for: a merchandising store and several cafes with beer and snacks. Cool idea - beer glasses featuring musicians. Almost all the visitors to the concert took such a souvenir home. We are no exception ;-)

It was possible to walk for a long time in cafes and bars, but we ended up here for the sake of music, so we took our places in the hall much earlier than many. We were surprised by the number of sound engineers who were behind us. Usually at mass concerts we see a "sound engineer 's cabin", where there are 2-4 people, and here there was a huge block in the orchestra, where 10-12 people worked.
We thought it was "because unplugged" ...

I liked one of his songs so much that I found it on the Internet and post it for you. This is an indicator that his participation in the "warm-up" for "A-ha" was not useless.

And then these three appeared, and with them seven more musicians and the magic began ...

Immediately I add a little video to the report so that you can also appreciate the level of quality that the musicians gave out on the evening stage in Hanover. Check out both the audio and video of the concert.

A separate string group of violin, viola and double bass (pictured on the left) created a full sense of "symphonic sound".
We took a classic photo with a view of the castle with our friends – Sergius and Olga, who were the initiators and guides of our journey here for a few years.

When I heard the sounds of the song "Memorial beach", I remembered that this hit was the title hit in the band's album of the same name, which Sergey Korotkov (the most respected music critic of those whom I listened to) spoke of as the best album of world music of 1993 of the year. I recommend that you listen to this album, and if you don't have enough time, then at least watch this video, shot by me in Germany.

The concert ended with the most famous song of the group: "Take on me". This time it was performed very lyrically. The guys played it three together, without the invited musicians, and the audience sang along with them. See how exciting it was.

The concert ended and we, with a little merchandising, left the "TUI-arena". On the way, we took part in a drawing of an iPad, which was advertised by "girls-sandwiches" from some radio station NDR. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to win, and there was no understanding of how we would have taken our winnings in a couple of weeks in a German studio ;-)

We walked to the metro through the Hannover-Messe complex, where the largest exhibitions of all kinds of world achievements are held. But that evening, the stands and exhibition halls were empty and only bright lighting indicated that this is a very advanced place.

Selfies on aphids of cool monuments are an obligatory part of the tourist program :-)

The railings of the central entrance have not been completely preserved, but it is necessary to stand without them in order to adopt the atmosphere of the Renaissance.

To give a sense of the history of how this place burns, I’ll add a photograph of old gatherings and handles on sliding doors.

Having reached the gateway of the Pidgoretsky castle, we reached the end and it was time to go out into the middle.

The inner courtyard is lined with stones and there are two exits to the bastion. One left-handed

The other one is on the right.

Having climbed the bastion, we took photographs from a different angle.

For those who are planning to discover the Pidgoretsky Castle for themselves, we would like to point out that during wartime it is no longer possible to pay 90 hryvnia.

The walls of the palace chambers are hung with paintings from different centuries. Among the collection of paintings there are even hostile images. It would be better to marvel at them especially. And the axis looked like the improvement of the castle literally a hundred years ago, with little fate, we started painting on one of them, depicting the “Golden Hall of the Pidgoretsky Castle”

From the halls you can go out onto the balconies and meditate while marveling at the outskirts of the castle. We tried to repeat the romantic photo from our film: “Recovering the Hutsul region” , which was a participant in the film festival in the peaceful and intact Mariupol, literally in the spring of 2021.

Then we went down by quint descents to the castle dungeon.

There we saw the basement walls and an exhibition of wonderful paintings.
In one of the underground casemates, a ghost girl is found. These images can be obtained in rare light spots, but I tried and, after many tests, captured the famous primer for you.

The narrow windows of the cellars, raised here very high, at once from the cold of the underground, give an impression of the hopeless fear that was felt in the ruins of this castle.

When it was light in the sunshine, we took a farewell photo of the castle and celebrated it. The right-hander saw a small fragment of the valley that looked like the Caribbean Sea, near Mexico . Marvel for yourself, there is so much rich water and white sand there. From the outside it seems that Pidgoretsky Castle stands here on the birch of the ocean. This is such magic...

We went down the hill and our journey continued. We have stolen the world's creatures. At the bottom of the castle there is a ruined farm and herd. We were fed up with cows' sons

And then they marveled in fascination at the miracle horses.

Having carefully looked at the herd, we touched the horses' muzzles, and the girl who led us with a gorgeous stallion from the bath asked us for 200 hryvnia for entry and a glance. We were very impressed.

You will definitely have to pay for extra food if there is a café with a view of the horses. There, our friend Igor, a famous modeller and biker in Brody, came before us, talking about his fantastic trike, which is a full-fledged “wakehouse on wheels,” as we know in the report about the Brodys.

At the end of the story about the celebration of the Pidgoretsky castle, I would like to put a photograph that includes the castle, which can be seen on the hillside, and the horses that galloped gracefully below.
We would be glad to receive your comments on this article. If you have been to "A-ha" concerts - share your impressions in the comments. Reposts and likes will be greatly appreciated.
