We will be pleased if you like this article.

It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)

Any tourist who comes to Kiev must visit Pirogovo. Since this open-air museum contains a magnificent collection of historical buildings from all over Ukraine. There are mills and huts and barns and churches. Everything is real, authentic, smelling of history.

The ticket price has increased this year and is 40 hryvnia (1.30 euros). For a European capital and such an extensive collection, this price, it seems to us , is very small. In any other country, taking the elevator to some observation deck costs 5-7 euros. Foreign tourists, and there are a lot of them in "Pirogovo" - we think that we are glad.
But, not in all countries you can see a real house built in 1587. Although I am a little confused by such accuracy in dates. After all, if they could establish the year of construction with such delicacy, then they could indicate the month. We are not capricious at all and do not require the exact day of construction ;-)

Everyone knows that the main goal of Green Tourism in Ukraine is to take more, carry it away and eat it there. :-) "Pirogovo" is no exception in this case . And that's great !!!

For those who have not been to this museum, we tell you: the entire territory of the museum is divided into regions from which the buildings were brought. Here and the Poltava region and Volyn and many others. The museum is very large. We visit it several times already, but we have never been able to bypass all the locations at once.
 Church view
And if you go into all the houses where there is an exposition inside, then you will definitely need more than one day to see everything.
 Hut interior
We sincerely recommend visiting Pirogovo to all lovers of nature and history. We are very inspired by this complex. It is especially pleasant when , while walking around Pirogovo, nature pleases with the sun. And for the most economical tourists there is a life hack: on August 24 on the Day of Independence of Ukraine - a visit to the Pirogovo Museum is free !!! Well, for real adventurers, in "Pirogovo" there is an opportunity to find the house of Taras Shevchenko's uncle, where Tarasik ran when he was a kid.
