Acquaintance with the castle began with a sign that reminded me of the lessons in my "driving school" when I was getting my license. The teacher explained to us that

putting up a bad road sign is much cheaper than fixing this road.

Here the story is similar.

The first impression of the castle that appeared in front was remembered forever. This is exactly what the Nottingham castle looked like in my imagination in the stories about Robin Hood.
A tour of the castle was led by Pasha, who knows these places, loves and diligently promotes in the world of Ukrainian tourism. We were very pleased that such an "old-timer" accompanied us.

Touching stones that have seen history over the past 800 years is a rare pleasure. Even in the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. But here in Ukraine it's easy! It is an amazing thing to climb under the arches where princes and princesses lived, where the surrounding residents escaped during the raids of enemies, where the knights sought the favor of their beloved ...



Here you understand how petty the disappointments of everyday life in front of centuries-old towers and walls can be. And now there will be lines of gratitude to Pavel Anikeev, the founder of the " Tourism in Transcarpathia " group. It was interesting and exciting for us in the excursions that he gave us. Thanks. We sincerely recommend it to everyone who travels to Transcarpathia. In the photo he is on the right ;-)

Going down to the lowland, we drank Transcarpathian coffee, which was served in a cafe "under the castle" and looked at the river, imposingly flowing nearby. And before leaving this beautiful place, we took a picture for memory.
