It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
About an hour's drive from Kharkov by train, in the Zmievsky district, right on the embankment, you can see a temple called the Spasov Skete. It appeared here thanks to a terrible story called "The Crash of the Imperial Train". Before you reach this temple, you will be greeted by a post-apocalyptic gate with an invigorating name.
Standing at this gate, turning your head to the right, you will see Spasov Skete. Its appearance is very encouraging by regularly passing trains and electric trains.

The event that created this skete took place in 1888. Who will say after that that three eights are fortunate? I will not go into the details of what happened, since it can be easily read on the corresponding Wikipedia page. I will only add that according to one of the most popular legends, Emperor Alexander III, who possessed remarkable strength, personally held the roof of the carriage while his loved ones got out of there.

There is an alley near the temple, where memorial sites are located, such as the burial place of the fragments of the bodies of those killed in the crash.

There is also a worship cross for those who want to commemorate those killed in this terrible disaster.

The park nearby is well-groomed and clean, we met people walking along it. Yes, we ourselves wandered with pleasure among these beautiful trees.

After walking in the park, looking at the foundation of the future large church, we took a picture with the Spasov Skete in the background. And we drove further across Ukraine.

And in my childhood memories: while driving this section by train or electric train, all passengers wanted to see the brutal ruins of the tower flying outside the window. Before the restoration in 2003, Spasov Skete was very authentic, clearly conveying the history of this place with its bricks. It looked like this:

Who has not seen how Leonid Parfenov talked about this, then a video is added below. Watch the wreck of the imperial train from 36:50. And Parfenov himself on the set of the film still walks near the old chapel.
