We will be pleased if you like this article.

It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)

All people love animals, only they love different animals. Someone loves hummingbirds, and someone like a blue whale. Someone loves cats, and someone loves skunks :-)
In my ranking of animals, the top three animals used to be camel, cat and hippopotamus. After a trip to the Thai state of Kanchanaburi

an elephant has been added to the list of my favorite animals.

 Friendship with a little elephant
Before starting your acquaintance with elephants, you need to visit a woodcarver factory. At the entrance to the factory, we performed the main gesture of Thailand "Wai".
Thailand's main gesture
See what the woodcarvers are doing in this factory. Here is one of the orders - a three-dimensional panel depicting the jungle. This beauty is made from a solid log.
 Incredible wood carving
Natasha met the wooden Hotei and immediately managed to make a wish, and then stroke his belly. I hope everyone knows: in order for a wish to come true, you only need to stroke Hotei's stomach 300 times. We do not break this tradition :-) Hover over:

Fashionable Thai wooden furniture that is made in this factory looks like this:

After the factory we got to the elephants. A small show that shows how smart the elephants are, and after that we climb to the launch pad. This is where our elephant journey begins.

Riding an elephant is not easy, and sometimes scary. Sometimes it seems that the basket attached to the back of this large animal can come off and all the passengers will simply fall to the ground.
We travel imposingly sitting on an elephant
In addition to elephants, there are several other animals on the farm that attract tourists no less than elephants. These animals are long-eared sheep. They are very cute and very tame.

After the trip to the elephant farm, we really fell in love with elephants. The main souvenir from this farm is your photo of an elephant ride in a special frame. These souvenir photo frames are made from elephant dung. Manure is compressed using a special technology and then shaped. This elephant souvenir occupies an important place in our room :-)
