MOUNT BABADAG
A global paragliding hub
We will be pleased if you like this article.
It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
A new attraction in the Turkish town of Ölüdeniz is a cable car that carries tourists up to an altitude of 1,800 meters. At the top lies a launch site—marked with a compass rose—where paragliders take off to soar over Ölüdeniz and the famous Blue Lagoon. This site has transformed the small Turkish resort into the paragliding capital of the world. We rode the cable car cabins, tried out the chairlift, and enjoyed coffee at a restaurant overlooking the paragliders drifting off into the vast sky. Make sure to travel!
