This happened in those distant times when we did not have a navigator, i.e. in the spring of 2012. We drove to "Kachanovka" from the direction of Kharkov and got lost ... Night fell, and we frantically in the headlights tried to find this turn to "Kachanovka", called the hostess and said that we were about to drive up. We finished doing this late in the field and in the mud. The downpour turned the field road into black slurry, along which three of the travelers were rushing with incredible drifts ...
We were sure that we would spend the night in the field in the rain and this thought drove us somewhere in search of a normal road. After circling for an hour and a half, we were able to go to the Sumy highway and set off at full speed, hoping to get to Priluki and spend the night somewhere there in any motel ...
A lump of dirt flying along the track in the form of our car, with the beams of headlights, grabbed the "mill" with the inscription "Borshna" and a pointer to the right side.
We stopped - quickly discussed and decided - we are going to watch. We turned towards the sign and found ourselves in a dark, dark village. We drove slowly, even discussing how much to drive. to return again to the native ASPHALTED track. Suddenly a two-story building appeared with burning windows behind a high fence ...
It was something from the movie "From Dusk Till Dawn". In the pitch darkness of the sleeping village is a hearth of spree and fun.
On the ground floor there was a cafe-restaurant, behind the counter there was a young boy and a girl. who literally slept from fatigue and a large number of visitors having fun at one in the morning ...
We asked about an overnight stay and we were taken to the second floor to a room decorated in ethnic style and, importantly, with a balcony (the only balcony in the building).
What can I say - excellent plumbing. The bed linen was generally new - we printed it ourselves. The place turned out to be better than we expected - apart from the young people having fun under OUR balcony.
We got up early, went to breakfast and lo and behold - breakfast was prepared by the same guys who fell asleep at the bar at night. Apparently they don't sleep by definition ... Or just in slavery ... :-)
After breakfast we went out into the courtyard of the hotel and looked around:
In the morning "Borshna" looked calm and friendly, just like the hotel from "From Dusk Till Dawn" in the morning :-)
We sat down in a car, which looked a little tired after last night's field tests.
And after seven kilometers we were in Priluki. To say that the trip is memorable is to say nothing. A night drive test in the rain fields, a sleeping village with a fun hotel off the road and crisp new sheets. But what about "Kachanovka" ?! And "Kachanivka" was still ahead, we learned about this from this Borshna advertising brochure:
