The report on the trip to Schedra Dolyna is one of the first reports that we began to conduct within the framework of our blog about "Green Tourism in Ukraine". This trip took place back in 2012, but the memories are fresh now ...
Using the site "Booking.com" for hotel reservations abroad, we accidentally saw this
base Schedra dolyna - booked, printed out and went for the weekend. We got there on Friday nightfall, the base was empty, the guard and the caretaker looked at the armor confirmation sheet for a long time, not understanding what it was and why people were poking a leaf in their face with a picture of their base. It looks like it was the first booking in their life via the Internet and, apparently, the last, because after our return to Kiev - "Schedra dolyna" disappeared from "Booking" ;-)
I think this is due to our requirement for a free breakfast :-) since this option is in the booking
has been included. After phoning someone, we were settled in the house that we had booked - it
a feature was the glass wall overlooking the lake. Breakfast was also served to us regularly
all two mornings that we were there. The house was warm, the view of the lake was incredible, so we woke up early, early
and in the morning fog rushed to see the main attraction of the Schedra Dolyna - ostriches. The meeting was warm ...
The ostriches were surprised by the violent manifestations of our emotions in the early hour and looked at us, a little down and a little sideways ...
After talking with the ostriches, we went fishing right from the platform of our house. Natasha for
this weekend I became a hero of the fishermen of this lake by catching carps and crucians of 10 kilograms. My achievements in this area are less significant, as I can only take a fishing rod out of boredom. And only for half an hour ...
While Natasha was fishing, we started a fire on the grill and then baked the two largest
carps on coals. The evening brought cold and frost. The most amazing thing is that at the end of September, in the midst of the night frosts, dandelions bloomed around our house, which are usually heralds of spring, but here among the frosty grass they looked like die-hard heroes ...
The morning of the second day was windy and slightly chilly, we devoted this day to research
surrounding lands.
A view of the base from the other side of the lake, our house with a glass wall in the center, behind it a windmill, and even farther to the forest is an ostrich pen. We walked around ... sat in the trees ...
We played beavers and played football ...
Rented our house ...
And we went home, escorted by a flock of local cats, who apparently consider themselves aristocrats, as they feed exclusively on ostrich meat ...
