It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
Sri Lankan village of Kirinda, located next to the Yala National Park. This park is one of the best safari destinations in the country. Going to try the Sri Lankan safari, we chose one of the bungalow-type hotels in Kirinda to stay and did it right. (We found ourselves in the Sri Lankan hotel "Green Tourism", and for the founders of the "Green Tourism in Ukraine" group, who promote this format of recreation in their country, it was very pleasant).
The wooden-clay houses in the jungle looked very colorful.

Literally in the first minutes of our arrival, we felt the closeness of wild nature. A band of wild monkeys wandered into the hotel territory, which galloped with a huge roar on the roofs of houses, swayed on tree branches and shouted at each other.

At the hotel itself, we were greeted with ice-cold fresh juice and handed out the keys to the bungalow. Each bungalow in the hotel has its own name. We got the Leopard. The houses of the rest of the expedition members bore the names "Butterflies", "Ducks" and "Rabbit". These names of the houses were firmly entrenched for everyone who lived in them before we returned home. The usual conversation after this identification was something like this: "Hey Rabbit, tell the Ducks that the Butterflies flew to the beach" ;-)

The interior decoration of our hotel rooms included everything needed for travelers.
Being practically in the savannah, we had access to all the benefits of civilization, including air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and shower.

Throwing things into the rooms, we went to explore the territory and came across a strange engineering structure with a wooden staircase leading somewhere up.

We climbed this staircase and were stunned. At the height of the third floor, there is a swimming pool with a beautiful panoramic view of the beach. You swim and look at the palm trees and waves. And if you take a photo at an acute angle, the pool will almost merge with the ocean.

This view pool is so beautiful that you can't just take and not put your photo in it when you write a report :-)

After swimming in the pool, we thought it was time to go out into the big water and went to the Kirinda beach. To get to the beach from the hotel - you need to go through a kind of "Tunnel of Love", which consists of palm trees, which bowed their leaves over the path.

When we got ashore, we were stunned. Kirinda beach turned out to be incredibly beautiful. In my rating of the viewed beaches, he is clearly from the top five. When you see it, you can imagine how ancient giants scattered stones of various sizes along the coast of the ocean, creating a unique landscape of water, sand and boulders. See for yourself:
What should travel bloggers do when they find themselves in a beautiful place? Of course, endlessly photographing from all the available means, so that later, after returning home, for a long time to choose the most interesting and beautiful photos for an article in your blog ;-)

The scenery of the Kirinda beach gave us great pleasure, we sincerely enjoyed the world around us. To touch such beauty - isn't this the happiness of travelers?

Large boulders, scattered by someone's "hand" on the beach, were constantly attacked by waves. Here and there, the impact of the water on the stones was accompanied by myriads of splashes, which we tried with pleasure to capture.

In some parts of Kirinda Beach, stones created natural pools where one could swim under the spray of the warm drops of the Indian Ocean.

The most striking impression of the beaches near Kirinda is the lack of tourists. Endless deserted beaches ... What a rarity in the modern world. (Photos below are clickable)

It would be unfair if in our article we talked about the hotel and beaches, but did not introduce readers to the village of Kirinda itself. The distance from the hotel to the village was only a couple of kilometers, but the 40C temperature scared off most of our team. After heated discussions, only three went to explore the village: I, Nata and Slava.
The main place of the village is the market. When we got to the market, sweat poured from each of us with hail. We photographed quite a bit there, because we ran from one shed with a shadow to another. In the following frames you will see:
1. A Lankan girl prepares her wares for sale.
2. We persuaded a local police officer to take a photo with us. (You can estimate the temperature outside if you look closely at my T-shirt)
3. A pretty goat is trying to find out the fare on a tuk-tuk. ;-) (It was on this tuk-tuk that we went back to the hotel when we felt that the "sunstroke" was not an invention of doctors from a children's holiday camp)

Kirinda itself, like the nearby beaches, is littered with large boulders. And among these huge boulders, the temple is located. Above the temple, the Buddha rises, examining everything around.

To the left of the Buddha there is a lake where a one-horned buffalo was hiding from the heat, but it was so hot outside that there was no strength to take out the camera and photograph it. Having walked around the lake, we decided that we still need to shoot such an unusual landscape, but the one-horned buffalo has already left this territory.

Now, after some time after returning from Sri Lanka, we often and with great pleasure remember Kirinda, where we were lucky enough to visit. And for some reason I remember very much the huge fish that the hotel manager with the simple name Indica prepared for us for our farewell dinner with rice.

After dinner, we all went to the night beach of Kirinda again.
Knowing that we were flying home tomorrow, we romantically photographed the bright moon that illuminated the beautiful shores of the blessed country called Sri Lanka ...
We would be glad to receive your comments on this article. If you have been to Kirinda - share your impressions in the comments. Reposts and likes will be greatly appreciated.
