We will be pleased if you like this article.
It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
Surely, few of the readers were in the only Museum of Water in Ukraine. We will try
open the door to this world of Poseidon, located in Kiev, not far from the Arch of Friendship
peoples ". We visited this museum in the spring of 2013. It is more convenient to get to the museum by metro from the" Independence Square "station, but we went to" Teatralnaya ", which allowed us to see a 3D picture of the theater, which was painted there in November 2012- th.
Then a short walk along Khreshchatyk, where Kondratyuk, having learned about our route, urgently began filming another issue of "Karaoke on the Maidan" .
We sing well, but this time we had different plans. Therefore: "Igor, not now"
Here we are near the museum. It was very cold outside, but the rules are the same for everyone. Visitors are launched in "packs" of 15 people, every 10 minutes. Plus "out of order" with kids and those who "just ask" ;-) So on days of high activity of vacationers, get ready to spend enough time in line. When we were waiting for our turn, we got very cold ...
Once inside, you go underground, where you first watch a film about water. Who does not know water is the source of life. The guide will tell you many historical nuances of water extraction and purification, as well as the history of water supply in Kiev. There are many exhibits, but we would not be us if we chose another exhibit to be posted on our blog ...
I really liked the hall that demonstrates water in its natural environment: rains, rivers, waterfalls - beauty!
And then the playroom. Children, who were among the tourists, began to splash, blow bubbles. The guide offered all the kids to visit inside the soap bubble. The kids agreed. Look here ;-)
The end of the exposition - fish kissing the hands of visitors. They swam and kissed. Everything is like in that joke about crocodiles in the circus: "Monsieur, if you knew how they beat us here ..."
Seriously speaking, the guide who introduced us to the exposition was very prepared and really loved what he was talking about. This is a great rarity in museums. If you are in Kiev, visit the Water Museum. We believe that the readers of our blog are a priori, nature lovers and fighters for the environment ;-) which means you will like this museum!
