It's time to describe the "Rose of the Carpathians" festival. Do not let the words "Rose" and "Carpathians" mislead you. This is a wine festival ... A real wine festival ... The village of Srednee is located not far from Uzhgorod. The attraction of the village is the Templar Tower , which we visited earlier. Now we wanted to see the wine festival ... And here we are!
We are unprepared participants and got stuck near one of the first kiosk. Tried one sort of wine, another ... Third ...
I remember the name: NUHT. This is the place where they teach how to make wine. I think that a lot of people would dream of studying at NUHT, but apparently there are not many budget places there. Although in such a place you can study under a contract ;-)
And then, kiosk, kiosk ... Out of a sense of shame, you decide to choose some wine to buy. Still, it's inconvenient, you try and try and don't buy anything. But you have to choose the best for the purchase, so: "Well, let me try this, now this and I haven't tried it yet ..."
After several tastings, the requirements for wine were simplified: so that red, sweet and more wine were poured during tasting ...
The cultural part of the festival does not pass by: you know that somewhere there are knightly tournaments, somewhere they sell souvenirs, but an ensemble from Slovakia is performing on the stage behind you.
What else can you dream of at such a "celebration of life"? Only about a delicious lunch. And there are enough offers.
Bograch, kebabs, potatoes ... We have chosen a place for eating and, in a pleasant expectation of order, we are discussing the festival. The order was brought in and the mood rose even more ...
At the next table, I saw an accordion. He lay there, so lonely and unnecessary. I asked the owner - is it possible to somehow console him? (It is clear that the accordion, not the owner ;-) The owner did not mind, and I regretted the accordion, hugging it with both hands.
Further, as in an old joke:
- Doctor, can I play the accordion after the operation?
- Of course you can.
- That's a miracle, I never played, but here I can ...
Once in my childhood I played the button accordion, so the accordion was an unusual adventure. The young ladies from the next table responded to him and began to sing along. I was shocked and you can see it in the photo.
It turned out to be an ensemble from Hungary. Imagine: in Transcarpathia, an ensemble from Hungary, in Russian, sang with the people of Kiev and Odessa - "Katyusha", and the last verse they sang in Hungarian. What could you do after that? Just dance ...
The Wine Festival is an incredible adventure. We hope that we will have many more such events ahead. At the end of the report - a photo of the owner of the kiosk, where the most delicious wine was.
