It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
If you are in business, then this post is especially for you. In Ukraine there is an underground church in which the patron saint of trade - St. John (Suceava. His relics are in the city of Suceava, Romania) is worshiped. This church is located in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. To be successful in commerce, be sure to visit such a place and plunge into the source of St. John.
When we approached Belgorod-Dnestrovsky by train, we in the carriage began to question the locals about the underground church. It turned out that the majority knows that there is such a church in the city, but they themselves have never been there. (so what kind of trade can there be in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky after that ?!) Therefore, we again relied on taxi drivers and they did not disappoint. The church and the font are located at a distance of 3-4 kilometers from the station, but in a very industrial part of the city. Nearby there is a port, warehouses, timber transshipment, i.e. places not quite conducive to tourists. But when we got there, this small complex, consisting of a font, a church shop and an underground church, set us up in a very sublime mood. This is the font of the holy spring. On the left is the door to the women's locker room, on the right - the rules for visiting and the entrance to the men's room.
We photographed the entire text of the life of John, but decided not to post it, as it is easy to find on the Internet. And the rules for visiting the font that hung on the board were photographed. True, Sergei, with his mobile phone number, is a little out of touch with everything else, but apparently a very decent taxi driver ...

Photo of the font was taken through glass doors. The water temperature is 5-6 degrees.
Having fulfilled all the prescriptions and immersed ourselves in the holy spring, with spiritualized faces, we went to the church itself.
(The photo shows my inspired face after bathing).

The church turned out to be a very small house and this is understandable, because it is not above ground, but underground.
In the middle of this church there is a descent and a staircase with a very low lintel.

Going down, you find yourself in a cell, where, according to legend, the relics of St. John were kept. In addition to patronizing trade and commerce, he is one of the main patrons of Bessarabia and is highly respected in Moldova, Romania and Bukovina. This is how the lower hall of the underground church looks like:
Staying in a small underground church is much more impressive than in any gilded cathedral. Here, somehow you feel more truthfully the frailty of the worldly and the greatness of the spiritual. Coming back to the surface, we took a bottle of holy water from the taps located behind the church. The taste of the spring water is unusual. If you are interested in reporting from holy places, then on our blog you will find Montserrat Monastery and Wiblingen Abbey .

After drinking water, we went to the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky railway station on foot. The mood was sublimely pensive. We unconditionally believe that John will help us in our trade, and in our other affairs as well. We recommend this attraction as a tourist attraction that will help you break out of routine for a while and think about the eternal.
