It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
The first impression of Jurmala is the city of villas. Long straight streets among pine trees, incredibly fresh air and beautiful architecture of private households. In the photo behind me is the villa, recognized as the most stylish and beautiful in Jurmala.

The place is familiar to everyone. Complex "Dzintari". A lot of festivals have been held here. And "Jurmalina" from Petrosyan and the song contest "Jurmala" and concerts "Comedy" and "KVN". I don't think there are places in the world that hear so many jokes. Something not included in the review can be viewed by subscribing to our INSTAGRAM

A little more about the popularity of Jurmala. As our guide said, the Baltic Beach hotel is the place where Alla Pugacheva always stays, but Laima Vaikule lives in Jurmala all the time. In the photo below - Lime's house with red decorations on the balcony.

Enough about celebrities. Further, the story will go about Jurmala itself. To do this, you need to go from "Dzintari" to the sea.

When you first go out to the Baltic Sea in Jurmala, you meet a big turtle. And, like a lion cub in a cartoon, you say: "Give me a ride, big turtle!" But this turtle is the main symbol of Jurmala. If you haven't touched it, then you won't come to Jurmala again. We tried very hard and were able to touch even two turtles. So we will return to Jurmala at least two more times ;-)

And here we have the Baltic Sea. This is our first acquaintance with him. For me personally, my first acquaintance with the Baltic was in Kuzmin's song "Simona": "The air is fresh on the Riga seaside, the wind of my hopes is wandering there"

After walking to the sea, we walked along the main pedestrian street in Jurmala. There we fulfilled the obligatory program: we went to the cult cafe, where we tasted the Old Riga cake.

Before leaving, we asked our friend to take a picture of us on the veranda near the pedestrian street. We hope that the photographer managed to reflect our true feelings ...
