BEACH LA MER
Bright spot on the map of Dubai

It costs you nothing, but a good deed is done :-)
Dubai is such an advertised place on earth that it seems you know everything about it: over there, on the other side, "Burj al Arab", over there, "Burj Khalifa" with other skyscrapers. We've all seen this in dozens of films and travel shows. That is why I want to talk about something less famous, but which left the same vivid impressions. La Mer beach - impressed us with the scale of the organization of the space and the artistic approach to recreation. Now we will tell you about this new place on the map of modern Dubai. First, a little atmospheric video from there:
The central entrance to the beach is marked with a flag and a creative fountain. The word creative is likely to be used a lot in this report. 😉
A little to the right of the entrance is the place where buses stop from hotels that bring tourists to the beach. There is a sign and huge TVs with advertisements.
Then you find yourself in a slightly strange art space, which at the same time looks like an abandoned port warehouse and a 19th century manufactory.
What immediately impresses is the density of art objects per square meter. Everywhere there are murals with plots and without, strange and not so sculptures, and just an unusual organization of space. About everything I want to take a picture, curl and pose 😜😜😜
You forget that you came to the beach and not to a contemporary art exhibition.
And for those who do not speak Arabic - we translate: the word "Keefak" means "How are you?"
And here we go to the beach. Colored houses are located near the alley, as if hinting at the similarity of this beach with the Melbourne beach 😉😉😉
Everywhere on La Mere there are chests, anchor chains, old boats, which create for tourists, either a pirate mood, or the atmosphere of old Dubai.
And do not forget that you are in a super-modern city, help beach houses with air conditioning and with the rest of the filling, which are rented.
Toys for children are sold by dozens along the beach alleys.
And these alleys lead to the water park, which is located almost in the center of La Mer.
Among the jumble of art objects, we found my initials, like in Vienna and a powerful transforming robot, like in Pattaya .
Fountains, fountains, artificial lakes - this stuff on La Mer beach is also enough.
Near one of the lakes with plastic dolphins, we found a bar with (!!!) alcohol🍷🍸🍹🍺. The polite waiter invited us to sit down, but the menu at the entrance, which indicated the price of 15 euros for a small bottle of beer, seemed to whisper to us: "Run, run away from here soon !!!" 😂
And we ran away to swim. It was an unexpected discovery for us that the water of the Persian Gulf is very cold in winter. It would seem that it is thirty degrees outside, the sun shines all day, and the water warms up to only 15-17 degrees. It took a little effort of will to enter the water. When you dive in and endure the first few seconds of the cold, the body gets used to it and you can swim relatively comfortably. But before the trip, the sites showed that the average water temperature off the coast of Dubai is 19 degrees. In reality, it was + -16 degrees there.
Having warmed up after a fresh swim, we went on to further explore creative objects.
Jumping into "Classics" or "Bingo", we went to taste the incredible taste and aroma of a freshly squeezed cocktail of mango, avocado and strawberry. It is made in a small cafe in the center of the beach, opposite the Van Houtte cafe.
Visited a very creative (sorry🙄) toilet. In the photo there is a hall with washbasins and Che Guevarra.
Then we walked along the well-groomed sand dunes, near very young palm-beauties.
We made a circular panorama, trying to fit more interesting things into one photo.
Of course, they wrote a classic phrase in the sand and photographed it.
We took a "selfie" against the backdrop of a panorama of Dubai skyscrapers and went to explore the city further!
Be sure to travel!
